i was always really interested in the concept of technological progress and "restarting the world" from zero, like how long would it take for a knowledgeable human to get us back to our current point if they knew what they were doing? 1000 years? 400? 80 and some elbow grease? so i started looking (there are lots of better books, articles, and even shows that do this premise better) and i found my way of what should be done. now first, i am specifically talking about a scenario where you or i go back 10,000 years with whatever knowledge we have, not going back with our depleted above ground resources or ruins of current civilization, cause that makes some things easier (like getting aluminum) and some things a LOT harder (like most stored energy resources, gas, coal, oil):

obviously learn the language of wherever you are and show them specifically obvious things that would help the most, germ theory and proper medical procedure, natural selection with agriculture, zero and one, a proper alphabet (a lot easier to learn for everyone), and which animals are actually able to be domesticated.

people and manpower are the biggest issue, most people are not literate, they are also all agriculture/food production (compared to 26% of the world today, and ~1.5% in developed countries). so maximising food production early is needed.
